Sudocrem... What?

Recently I have had colds and  little spots that are red and angry looking, it's just not cool guys I hate it! So I've been using Grease Lightning spot treatment from Lush for ages now and it does work and I do love it. But it's a spot treatment that works over a weekly period and sometimes you need results instantly.

I'm very impatient and I really like products which show results straight away but I know you do need to have patience with some of them and allow them to do their thing over a longer period of time. But for me Sudocrem is a quick fix (by quick I mean a couple of days) and brings down redness and soreness quickly. Granted this product is geared towards nappy rash but that's red and sore so it's kind of the same thing, right?

Sudocrem is marketed as a healing cream and I would definitely agree! There are just so many perks to it - it's cheap around the £2-3 mark, it's soft on your skin, good for all skin types (even if you have very sensitive skin) and it doesn't break me out (I have normal to combination skin). It's definitely a bog standard product and you can get it anywhere in the UK, not sure about other parts of the world. But if you have dry sore skin, or a bad spot try sudocrem - it's been great for me recently and hopefully works for you.

The Body Shop's Body Butters

I know these items have been spoken/written about hundreds of times but on Saturday I was in my local town and just happened to notice through the door a £5 deal on selected body butters.

There was quite a few to choose from (but sadly my favourite strawberry was not in the deal) there was blackberry, raspberry, mango, and a couple of others I can't remember - maybe a limited edition Jasmine one which I smelt and remember thing 'this is amazing'... Why didn't I get that one too!

On the website Sweet Lemon is on sale and strawberry is on sale for £6.50. Click and in basket.

I ended up picking up the raspberry scent because the smell of sweet fruits gets me every time! I love the consistency of body butter, it's thicker and feels smooth and luxurious on my skin. I like to use an exfoliater on my skin - I've been using the body sugar scrub from FCUK and the smell is lovely but it is very abrasive. I then smother my skin in the body butter ( a lot goes a long way) and voila smooth skin and a smell that lingers. All in all the body butters from The Body Shop are one of my all time beauty favourites I will now buy the strawberry one and search for this Jasmine one I'm not completely sure is real... Did I dream such an amazing scent.
