So I loved Glee back in the day, the Britney episode, Madonna episode and The Rocky Horror Glee Show were among my favourite. But the last two seasons (not including The Quarterback) had lost the Glee sparkle. I boycotted season five I only watched The Quarterback and maybe two other episodes. But I was bored one Saturday morning and I noticed that season six had just started, so I was like why not... It's so good!
It has gone back to why it was so good in the first place, the glee club is the main focus point and Sue's non-stop scheming to destroy the New Directions is back. First of all, it's always good to see the original cast but I do find it annoying how unrealistic it is that they all just drop everything in their lives and travel miles to get back to Ohio (who knew plane tickets were that cheap)? But from who's left from the original cast Rachel, Kurt, Blaine, Sam, Will and Sue it has allowed different dynamics to formulate and although I miss Santana as a regular... She will always be Queen Bitch sorry Kitty; I really enjoy it.
If you have enjoyed Glee in the past, but didn't enjoy later seasons I really think that you'll like Season six. The songs are good (Alanis Morisette songs in episode two... Just saying). The quirky, comedic edge is similar to the first season and the characters are interesting and all in a transitioning period in their lives (which I relate to, and I'm sure others would too).
